Donny McKenzie
Having studied with David Campbell at Christ Church College, Canterbury Donny McKenzie graduated with an MMus in Performance in 2001. Whilst studying he won awards to play and study abroad. Already busy with playing professionally in and around Kent he also had an active role in teaching in the South East and was Clarinet Tutor at Blackheath Conservatoire. He moved to central London where h took the post of Clarinet Specialist at Howarth of London in 2003. Donny now divides his busy schedule of Chief arranger/copyist of the Ahlander Trio (and its clarinettist), and his research of Basset Clarinet. Donny also holds a Licentiate in Performance from Trinity College of Music.
